Halloween Mantle

I am so excited to share my Halloween mantle! I am thrilled with how well it turned out! One of my dreams was to have a house with a fireplace and mantle to decorate. Our prior house didn’t have one, so this move was a big win!

My interior Halloween decorating style is usually a bit more on the gory side, but this year I decided to go with a very simplistic yet spooky theme.

The best part of it all was that my daughter was so excited to partake in the decorating! While taking pictures of the finished look, she came running over to me holding a spider, a skeleton and a ghost light wand that she picked out from the store. “Mommy take my picture!” Say “spooky!” My little girl sure knows how to make my heart happy and make my smile go from ear to ear.

Where I found everything:

Glitter pumpkins

I used an old large to fill with black and silver glitter pumpkins and skulls. The black candle holders are usually in another room the rest of the year, but worked out perfectly for this scene. The black lanterns were purchased from LTD Commodities a few years ago and originally used in my garden, but once cleaned up, added the right amount of height that I wanted for the mantle. Don’t forget to add a few pumpkins to complete!

Oh and can we give a round of applause for my dogs who sat for a picture too!

I hope this helps inspire your future Halloween mantle decorating! Happy Halloween!
